Gaming is a part of our DNA and we love being asked by clients to help create engaging event experiences through games. We were very pleased to be approached by another local business, Commercial Group, to create a game for their stand at the recent bett show. The brief was to create something fun and unique that would get people interested in coming onto the Commercial stand. Enter our Micro Racers game!
Using the very latest in Microsoft hardware in the form of a Surface Pro 3, the racing game was re-skinned to Commercial Groups' branding and playable with a steering wheel. Basically you race a micro sized car around a full sized desk littered with technology paraphernalia such as phones, laptops, tablets and USB sticks. The end result was a great success with lots of interest and plenty of education professionals getting in touch with their inner geek.
We contacted Rancon after a glowing recommendation from Richard Levinge, Director of Ease Training. With a number of high profile events IT Services would be exhibiting in the near future, we needed something that would attract potential visitors to our exhibition stand. Rancon showcased a number of possible games that would suit our target audience - we finally settled on a racing game ‘reskinned’ to our specification.
Rancon focused on our needs as a business and delivered the initial objectives set. The game had its first outing at The Bett show in January at the Excel centre, needless to say it was a hit and the desired results were achieved.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Rancon to any business who wants to stand our from the crowd at any given event!
